What we handle, and where we stop
Not a service list. Four kinds of difficulty that this firm is organised around — and, at the end of each, the honest limit of what we will take on.
- 01 Large homes Six floors and a cellar Houses where the volume is the problem and one load was never going to do it. Where we stop We do not disconnect or reconnect plumbed, wired or fitted items, and we do not undertake structural work to create access.
- 02 Fine art and antiques Crated, not blanketed Items where the packing has to be built rather than wrapped. Where we stop We are removals contractors, not conservators or fine-art shippers. We do not clean, restore, value or authenticate, and for items where a specialist shipper is warranted we will tell you.
- 03 Discretion Who knows, and when A move creates a record of what you own and when your house is empty. That deserves handling. Where we stop Discretion is not secrecy from lawful authority. We comply with legal obligations, and we will not conceal or misdescribe goods for any customer.
- 04 Prime central London The hardest square mile to park in Where the building rules and the street rules rarely agree. Where we stop We cannot obtain permission a square committee or freeholder declines to give, and we will not work in breach of a building's conditions of access.
