Built around the difficult end of the work
A London-wide removals firm organised around four kinds of difficulty rather than around a borough list.
Most of what a removals firm does is straightforward, and we do plenty of it. This site is about the part that is not.
Four things account for nearly all the difficulty in London: houses too large to empty in a day, objects that have to be crated rather than wrapped, addresses where the building's rules and the street's rules barely overlap, and moves where the information the job generates matters as much as the goods.
Those are the four we have organised around.
Why the limits are on the site
Every page here ends with what we will not do. That is deliberate. A firm that implies it handles everything is a firm you find out about on the day, and in this end of the market finding out on the day is expensive.
So: we are removals contractors. We do not conserve, restore, value or authenticate. We do not disconnect plumbed, wired or fitted items. We cannot obtain a permission a square committee declines to give, and we will not work in breach of a building's conditions of access.
What we are not
Not the cheapest, and not pretending to be. Not a broker. And we carry no accreditations, ratings, client lists or press coverage we have not earned — this site names no customers, because customers who want discretion are not case studies.

Four things we hold to
The survey produces a plan
Not just a figure. On a house that takes three vehicles, the order rooms leave in determines how liveable the place stays while the move happens. That is worth agreeing in advance.
Condition recorded before anything moves
Photographs and written notes of existing marks, losses and repairs. It protects both sides, and it is the only way to be clear afterwards about what happened when.
We state the limits
We are not conservators, fine-art shippers or valuers. Where an object warrants a specialist, we say so rather than take the work and hope.
Discretion means specific practices
Access-controlled records, no marketing photography, unbranded vehicles on request, minimum disclosure to buildings. Not a tone of voice.
